Living Anthropomorphism

Scientist at the Genome Institute of Singapore recently broke ground with a hybrid clone between a human and a dog. This past year Dr. Bing Lim with the help of Professor Lu Guangxiu at Xiangya Medical College successfully created a human/dog hybrid stem cell. This research was a continuance of Professor Xaingya’s work with human-rabbit hybrid embryonic stem cells. Together Dr. Lim and Dr. Xaingya have done the impossible and somewhat unthinkable task of bridging the gap between the human and animal kingdoms. The two found that the hybrid stem cell was actually viable and able to form a complete embryo. The new hybrid is ahead of human cloning laws which allowed the two to successfully clone the new human-dog. Amazingly, unlike most hybrids like the mule their new hybrid was capable of sexual reproduction.

Recently the institute held a conference on the ramifications of hybrid speciation with regards to human stem cell research where a mother and her new litter were presented to fellow genetic researchers.

The convention was an incredible hit amongst the top brass of gentic researchers. However, the convention did not go off without a few minor hitches; angry about being dropped from the race to become more human deranged bunny rabbits drove through the convention and openly vocalized their displeasure to the meandering conventioneers.

After several heated arguments between Dr. Lu Guangxiu and the highly upset bunnies the two contingencies came to an agreement that rabbits would be included in the next hybrid stem cell speciation project at which point the appeased rabbits left the researchers to further discuss ways of finding additional funding oustide the watchful eyes of the W.H.O..
